A quest is a problematic search activity that meets the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard for preschool education and can be considered as an alternative to the traditional approach in teaching and developing preschoolers. By maintaining elements of cognition and creativity, developing a child's intellectual abilities and mental processes such as attention, memory, thinking, and speech activity, the quest preserves the leading type of activity for preschoolers - play. Examples of quests are provided in the pages of this manual, as well as quests based on developing games by V. V. Voskobovich. This publication is aimed at preschool educators, parents, and students of relevant educational institutions.
