In the work, through the analysis of materials from judicial and investigative practice, the results of studying and summarizing the experience of investigating and advanced forensic developments in the category of crimes under consideration have identified problems that arose during the proceedings related to the financing of illegal armed groups. Comprehensive research has allowed to formulate specific proposals aimed at improving the quality of pre-trial proceedings, organizing rational investigation planning in criminal cases, observing the deadlines provided by law, and fundamental criminal procedural principles. Information and reference materials from the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the legal reference system "ConsultantPlus," and statistical data from the Federal State Institution "GIATS of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia" were used in preparing the scientific and practical guide. The legislation is provided as of May 17, 2023. This guide may be useful to investigators, prosecutors, judges, lawyers, students, and teachers of higher educational institutions in the legal field, adjuncts, postgraduates, and researchers, and can be of interest to a wide range of readers interested in this issue.
