The book presents the biography of the remarkable Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. In his life, there were years of study, very successful years of composing, but there were no women and no financial success. It wouldn't be accurate to say that Tchaikovsky was poor. But he was not wealthy either. He constantly lived off a woman he never saw - Nadezhda von Meck. Unexpectedly for everyone, Tchaikovsky died when he was only 53 years old. And he died very quickly, succumbing to cholera in just three days - even though he was completely healthy before that. But oh, how he worked! How he composed his operas, symphonies, and other works, which even someone with no knowledge of music can appreciate today. Biographical stories about Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky are illustrated with rare photographs taken at different periods of his life.
