From natural science positions, numerous literary data regarding the issues of the formation and development of the personality obtained in various areas of studying human activity are analyzed. Psychophysiology has been developed for the structural and functional personality theory on the basis of systemic, multi-levelness and nonlinearity, discreteness and continuity, showing the dialectic unity of the formation in the ontogenesis of mental processes and personal properties. It was shown as a personality of development from elementary biological innate manifestations of mental activities to the highest socio-social forms. A logical model of consecutive stages (periods) of personality structuring and the corresponding dynamic series of mental processes are presented.
