Master of Religious studies and Dr. Boason Alan Wilson Wats, was best remembered by readers as an interpreter of Zen Buddhism, in particular, Indian and Chinese philosophy as a whole. Leaving aside from interfaith disputes, he earned a reputation as one of the most original and “uninhabited” philosophers of the 20th century. Wats wrote about twenty books on the philosophy and psycho-ghost of religion, which were translated into many languages, including the Besta-Ler “Zen Way”. A passionate lecturer, Wats regularly spoke on the radio, and in the 1960s he was a leading television program “Eastern Wisdom and Modern Life”. He died in 1973
