The publication is the experience of a systematic presentation of the psychological foundations of the theory and practice of self -control.
The concept of self -control is analyzed, the features of its functioning in mental phenomena (processes, conditions, properties) and factors affecting its implementation are considered, the patterns of the formation of self -controling ontogenesis are traced, its role in the context of professional activity, as well as ensuring physical and mental human health.
