The collective monograph is devoted to the analysis of the problems of preservation, reproduction and transfer of cognitive experience accumulated by a person in his practical activity. The issues of identifying the most significant characteristics of cognitive experience are discussed in order to create an information system intended for progressive "capitalization" of the experience of professionals at a real -working enterprise. The author’s team included leading representatives of the school B.F. Lomov, working in line with the problems of cognition and communication, the Yaroslavl psychological school, specializing in the direction of psychology of practical thinking, as well as scientists of a number of scientific centers of France. The results of theoretical, empirical and applied studies are shown within the framework of numerous national and international projects
