Disorders of mood and thinking are still one of the most taboo topics in society and are surrounded by many stereotypes and fears. A few years ago, the artist Alexander Shevchenko ended up in a neuropsychiatric hospital and realized that there are not “real psychos” at all here, but ordinary people with difficult destinies. She decided to record their stories and share her own. From the notes made by Alexandra and sketches, a documentary comic book was born, which reminds us: to speak openly about mental disorders as normal and important as to seek help to cope with them
