We all saw shots with firefighters who save people from burning buildings, or health workers, helping victims of bombing. How do these people manage to make seconds of decisions on the fractions of which life depends? In most research of decisions based on artificial laboratory problems, subjects are considered as inexperienced people with prejudices that interfere with them. Klyin offers a naturalistic approach, suggesting that people gain experience that allows, making decisions, to use intuition in combination with analysis.
