The publication proposed to the reader is the first Russian -language collection of materials on the legendary person in the history of psychoanalysis, an outstanding student K.G. Yung and 3. Freud - Sabina Nikolaevna Spilrane and the original theory of destruction she developed.
Since the publication of the famous monograph of the Italian researcher Aldo Caratenuto “Diary of Secret Symmetry. Sabina Spielrein between Jung and Freud ”A lot of works came abroad about this outstanding woman, covering her life path, a role in the development of psychoanalytic teachings and extraordinary ideas. Sabina Spielrein has become a significant phenomenon in Russian and European culture, a character of plays, successfully going on the largest scenes of the world, works of cinema. Thanks to the efforts of domestic psychologists and historians, publications about its fate and scientific work appeared over the past decade and in Russian scientific journals. We are pleased to realize that this publication, including the classical work of S.N. Spilrane and articles of wonderful modern scientists interested in preserving the memory of her and the development of her ideas, finally, is published in the homeland of one of the first women psychoanalysts-in Rostov-on-Don.
This collection contains the vast and diverse material of the theoretical, scientific, practical, psychobiographic and historiographic nature. The first section provides the central in the Spilrein Heritage Article “Destination as the cause of formation”, the work of domestic and foreign biographers S.N. Spilrane. The second section contains materials of four international conferences in memory of S.N. Spilrain, held in Rostov-on-Don, under the auspices of the Rostov State University and the Rostov Psychoanalytic Association from 1994 to 2003
