The methodological manual represents the Russian-language version of the test of J. Mayer, P. Selovey and D. Karuzo MSCEIT V2.0 (The Mayer-Salovey-Carus Emotional Intelligence Test), adapted by the authors in a large sample. An expanded psychometric check and methods of processing and interpreting the results are described. The theoretical foundations of the model of emotional intelligence J. Mayer, P. Selovey and D. Caruso were disclosed and a comparison of this model with foreign and domestic tests was compared. The analysis of the results of the use of this test is given and the advantages and restrictions of its use are discussed. Addressed to psychologists
