This book reveals not only the meaning of the concept of “white crow”, or marginal. It tells about the true values granted to us by education, namely: the ability to be yourself and the courage not to be ashamed of this. The label of the “White Crow” is usually hung on someone who is not afraid to act against generally accepted norms. At the same time, it is not necessary that such a person deliberately goes into conflict with the system. Personality, by definition, is closely in any framework. This is laid down in the nature of man. No system is able to take into account and satisfy all our deep needs. Superburation of the generally accepted norms is not able to lead to epoch -making scientific discoveries, does not give rise to masterpieces of art and will not indicate the path to freedom from tyranny. Thirst for knowledge in a child also cannot be regulated. The norm is a synonym for prison. Phil Bidle is not a provocateur and not an instigator, although it is convenient for many to hang on him such derogatory labels (especially those who are afraid of free -mindedness) He has an allergy to delusional ideas. He advocates freedom against mediocrity, grayness, capable of poisoning and destroying life
