Assajioli was a bold innovator, one of the first psychologists who recognized the spiritual nature of man. The psychosynthesis method developed by him, presented in this book in full, has become a clinically applicable form of psychotherapy, including the transpersonal aspect of human experience. Starting as a psychoanalyst, he came to the conclusion that love, wisdom, creativity and will, as important components of human life, should be included in the field of psychology and psychotherapeutic practice.
