Unlike other works on this topic, the author offers to look at the relationship not as separate episodes of our life, but as a holistic picture in which each piece is in its place and complements the overall impression. Koval not only gives definitions, but also explains the essence of such phenomena as love, jealousy, libido, aggression, desire for life and death, he binds all these phenomena among themselves, allowing him to understand the difficulties of relations even an unprepared reader
