The textbook describes the basic issues of general and social psychology, personality psychology, psychology of development, differential psychology. Knowledge of the facts, patterns, mechanisms of the functioning of the psyche will be needed by students of a medical university at the subsequent stages of their education at clinical departments (in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases, in patient rehabilitation programs), in preparation for managerial, pedagogical activity.
The material of the textbook implements the author’s model of organizing practical classes in psychology. The structure of each lesson includes its goals, control of the initial level (written or oral), independent work of students (individual, group) for working out targeted tasks of the lesson, final control. The textbook is equipped with test tasks (tests of educational achievements, personal tests, etc), a set of situational tasks, tasks for group work. Along with methodological materials for audit classes, tasks for self -training for them are also proposed.
