The proposed book is devoted to the main problems of psychology and psychopathology of perception. Perception is considered as a complex process of movement of the multi-level apparatus of the "probes", and, accordingly, disorders of perception --- as a change in certain characteristics of the movement of this apparatus. This approach allows not only to describe this or that disorder, but also to reveal its psychological mechanism, and therefore --- determine its place in a number of other disorders. Thus, in contrast to the usual as many manuals of an unsystematic description of perception disorders, in this book they are built into a clearly organized and logically strict sequence.
