The book discusses the psychological problems of a modern person, such as the problem of identity, narcissism, existential crises, anxious, depressive and hypochondriacal conditions, and irrational thinking. The influence of the virtual environment on higher mental functions is analyzed. The possibilities of a cultural-historical approach in explaining the mechanisms of various mental disorders are demonstrated.
