Little Albert loved all white and fluffy. Psychologist John Watson allowed the child to play with a large white rat, but at the moment when the child reached for the animal, the natural scientist hit the metal plate with a hammer. This was repeated several times and soon Albert began to fall into hysteria only by seeing the rat. A few months later, the effect was still preserved and even progressed. A few years later, the child died. An experiment with little Albert showed how easily and effectively it is possible to instill a panic fear for a person for anything. Unfortunately, it turned out to be much more difficult to recover from imposed fear.
Fears and phobias are able to seriously ruin the quality of human life. It is with this problem that people most often come to psychologists. Z. Freud, G. Aizenk, J. Watson tell on the pages of the book about the most striking and interesting cases of phobic disorders from his practice
