“Oediples complex” is the concept of psychoanalysis Z. Freud. According to Freud, the boy experiences a sexual attraction to his own mother and the desire to eliminate the father as an opponent (positive Oedipus complex) Not being able to get rid of his father, the boy identifies himself with him, adopting the features of adult male behavior, as well as a system of moral instructions and prohibitions present in an adult that now become part of his personality. The opposite desire is also observed - to replace the mother as an object of desire (negative Oedipus complex).
