The book of Psychoanalyst Denis Vassa, the comrade -in -arms of Jacques Lacan and Francoise Dolto, presents the results of the analysis of two young children, Hector and Coral. Based on the technique of analyzing children"s drawings and comments on children to them, the VAS considers them as a kind of letter that reveals the unconscious children, not yet very confident in the language. Theoretically comprehending the results of the analysis, the VAS, among other things, considers the role of the navel, its “closed” or “openness”, as a model of further relations with all other holes of the body.
The book was first published in 1974 and is a sign of French psychoanalysis, as well as cultural criticism.
