The training manual reveals the scientific and methodological foundations of a regional study, its specifics, structure, models, types and logic are considered. Particular attention is paid to the geospatial approach as a methodological base of regional studies, the heuristic capabilities of the geographical, geoistoric, geoistoric, geo -economic, geoidoological, Georeligular and geocultural paradigms in the study of regional society are revealed. The most urgent methodological problems of regional studies and the prospects for solving them within the framework of multidimensional methodological constructs are revealed.
