The textbook reveals the issues of scientific knowledge and methodology of science, types of rationality in classical, non-classical and post-non-classical psychology, fundamental problems of psychology, methodological principles and categorical system of psychology. The effectiveness of the assimilation of the textbook material is based on a combination of theoretical material with vocabulary explanations of the fundamental terms located for the convenience of the reader directly in the text of the theoretical descriptions presented, as well as on the inclusion of biographical descriptions of outstanding scientists who dealt with the problems of psychology methodology. For a more fundamental presentation of the material, fragments of the main original works of the authors of concepts on the problems of psychology methodology are given.
