Reprint from the publication. SPb., 1909. Wanda von Zaher-Mazokh (Angelika Aurora Rumelin 1845-1917) The name given at birth is Angelika Aurora Ryumelin, the pseudonym - Wanda von Dunajew. The writer and wife of Leopold von Zaher-Mazokh. At the age of 26, she first corresponded, and then married the writer Zacher-Mazokh. In marriage, she took on the role of the cruel Vanda von Dunaev, Venus in the furs Zacher-Mazokh. The marriage was terminated in 1887. In 1886, the psychiatrist and neurologist Richard von Kraft Ebing introduced a new concept in psychiatry and sexopathology related to the work of the writer,-masochism.
