In this book, Robert Stolorou continues the development of the theory of intersubjective systems (see: Stolorou R. et al. Clinical psychoanalysis. Interceptive approach. M.: Kogito-Center, 1999) in relation to the problem of mental trauma. To conceptualize the phenomenon of mental trauma, the author resorts to the concepts of continental philosophy, its directions as phenomenology, hermeneutics and existential analytics by Martin Heidegger. The author’s appeal to the experience of suffering and cure for his own injury associated with the sudden death of his wife deserves particular attention
