What is needed to become a genius: 9 paradox lessons.

Maria Curie, Albert Einstein, Alexander Fleming, Henry Ford, Friedrich Nietzsche, Arthur Conan Doyle, Theodore Dreiser, John Lennon, Gustav Maler, Sergey Prokofiev ... These people went down in history. Their abilities were unique. Their life surprised. They were called not just outstanding - they were called geniuses.

But what do we know about geniuses? Are they born or become? What is common between Albert Einstein, Vincent Van Gogh and Virginia Wolf? And is it possible to help your child become ingenious?

There are answers to these questions in the book of Honored Professor of Psychology Dina Kita Simonton. For more than four decades, he studied this topic, studied the biographies of famous personalities and compared them IQ. And in the end he wrote a book in which he answered the most exciting questions about genius. He explains whether it is possible to educate his genius, whether the level of IQ is so important, draws a difference between artistic and scientific genius and gives examples of the life of the Great.

For whom this book
For everyone who wants to better understand the origins of genius and apply this knowledge.

From the author
Despite the fact that the word genius in all ways is inclined in pop culture and modern media, it is most often used without any binding to scientific research on this topic. And the study of the phenomenon, by the way, began more than one hundred and fifty years ago and continues to this day. Of course, all these scientific discoveries are not available to the ordinary reader. Most of them are buried in highly specialized magazines under the cargo of understandable only a few statistics and mathematics. I believe that the main ones should finally be represented by a wider audience. This is one of the main goals of my book. And the best way to do this is to show enough visual examples and stories from the life of famous geniuses.

The roads of genius are sometimes so confused that they seem very contradictory. For example, how to answer the question: are they born with geniuses or become? Science tells us that it happens differently. However, often the authors begin to defend one point of view, for example, convincing everyone that geniuses are certainly born. To avoid such excessive simplification, I grouped scientific conclusions into nine paradoxical statements (or lessons), which reveal issues of genius from different angles. No matter how contradictory these statements seem, each of them has a share of truth.

As a result, I got nine paradox lessons that give a comprehensive understanding of what is needed to become a genius. So read carefully!
