The publication dedicated to the outstanding English economist, thinker and public figure J. M. Keynes entered his most important economic works. All of them are accompanied by additions and corrections.
Readers are offered the re -edited text of Keynes"s main work “General theory of employment, interest and money” with the preface of the author, which is published in Russian for the first time. In the full version, the works “Economic consequences of the Versailles Peace Treaty”, “Review of the Versailles Treaty” and an article about the global monetary market and the 1929 crisis were published. They were not reprinted in our country for more than a hundred years.
The publication also includes the Treatise on Cash Reform, the Economic consequences of Mr. Churchill"s foreign exchange policy and the article-“The end of Laissez-Faire” and “General Employment Theory”. Of particular value are materials from the Russian State Archive of Economics related to Keynes"s stay in Soviet Russia in 1925
