The author of the book is based on the achievements of the directions of experimental and physiological psychologies, as well as on the concept of the Würzburg school, whose representatives developed an innovative methodology for studying the processes of thinking using systematic experimental self -observation. The first section of the book is introductory in nature, here we are talking about the issues of heredity, theory of evolutionism, the origin of man, the physiological description of the races. Two sections of the books are devoted to the theme of the soul - in people (for the example of children) and animals. The last of the sections is dedicated to physiognomy, the hot supporter of which was I.A. Sikorsky.
