For the first time, the psyche is represented as a developing functional system with a fairly complete description of the composition and structure of its functions in their hierarchy and interaction. As a system -forming factor and at the same time the main consumer of the functions of the psyche, a generalized task of the body"s life is considered.
The main purpose of the psyche is seen in the formation of parametric images of tasks corresponding to current functional requests, in organizing the interaction of all generalized carriers of functionality involved in the tasks, including the body itself, and in managing the processes of execution of tasks. A priori and current information support for the body serves these goals. In this case, the images of tasks and carriers of functionality have coordinated parametric structures.
