The main task of this book is to analyze certain aspects of the complex problem of the formation of animal behavior both normally and in pathology. The book discusses the interaction of innate and individually acquired components in the formation of various levels of animal behavior, the role of excitability and the forces of the nervous system in the formation of certain acts of behavior, the effect of the endowment of internal secretion on animal behavior, the role of the overexidated state of the brain in the occurrence of various pathologies. An attempt has been made to highlight and study the group of reflexes called the author extrapolation, these reflexes are one of those types of reflex activity of the brain that can be characterized as elementary rational.
