This book reveals the veil over the secrets that arise in the family as a result of trauma and are carefully protected by its members. The causes of family secrets, their transformation throughout the life of the family and the influence on the next generation show the monstrous and destructive consequences of secrets for the psyche of descendants: the destruction of the connection between loved ones, identity diffusion, severe diseases, and a decrease in vitality.
