The monograph contains a detailed analysis of theoretical and methodological approaches to the concept of emotional intelligence (EI), relevant foreign and domestic fundamental and applied research in this field. The original scientific model (model of abilities) of the founders of the concept of emotional intelligence, professors of Yale University and the University of New Hampshire-P. Selovey, D. Karuzo and J. Mayer, presented a comparative characteristic of the EI"s abilities and mixed models of the EI, and the possibility of purposeful development of the EI are highlighted. , as well as a tested, proved program for the development of the EI, a methodology for the objective assessment of the EI.
