Sigmund Freud and Karl Jung are two greatest representatives of analytical psychology of the 20th century. Freud was the founder of this current, who had a huge impact on philosophy, sociology, anthropology, literature and art of the twentieth century. Interest in Freud"s theory does not fade away today.
Karl Jung was a faithful student of Sigmund Freud and was considered his throne -off, but then there was a conflict between them, as a result of which Jung left Freud. The reason for the conflict was a different understanding of the motives of human behavior - Freud believed that it was based mainly by suppressed sexual desires, Jung gathered sexuality to a much smaller role.
