This work shows that the synthesity of the synthesis of “chaos and order” based on natural scientific studies, which describes the dynamics of the structure of systems in order to analyze and optimize the development of humanitarian systems, should be supplemented by figurative content. The results of a philosophical, historical, psychological and experimental-psychological analysis of the role of synthesis of figurative and structural-dynamic manifestations of chaos and space in the integration of various components of the mentality of the collective and individual subject: archaic mentality, mentality of modernity and postmodern are given. The focus on the natural ideal of development in the process of integration in the “layered” structure of the mentality of figurative manifestations of chaos and space, taking into account their ethnic function, helps to optimize the development and adaptive potential of the subject. The use of the regulatory potential of these manifestations is considered as a possible basis for optimizing not only the psychological development of the subject, but also its development in the non -psychological areas of life, such as economics, law, ecology, medicine, education, etc
