Writing a book on neurobiology of behavior, Professor Dubinin, prompted the success of his lecture course “Brain and needs”. Biological needs are the basis of the foundations of our mental activity. Constantly replacing each other, they push a person to do certain actions, set goals and achieve them. The motivators of both momentary and long -term plans of each of us, biological needs drive economics, science, art and ultimately history. Revealing the themes of the book: hunger and curiosity, fear and aggression, love and care for the offspring, the desire to lead, freedom, the joy of movements - the author aims to bring the reader closer to understanding his own brain and body, tells how to become a skilled user of nature laid down in us mechanisms and programs of the nervous system to show and implement personal giftedness
