V.V. Zenkovsky (1881–1962) - one of the leading Orthodox thinkers of the Russian abroad, religious figure, historian of Russian philosophy, psychologist and teacher. Deep penetration into Christian anthropology, a subtle understanding of child psychology, as well as pedagogy allowed him to convincingly show: in addition to the dependence of a person on the nature and social environment, the dynamics of the internal formation of the childhood soul is based on a happy union of faith and knowledge. The center of life of the child, according to Zenkovsky, is a feeling, the emotional sphere - his “spiritual heart”.
