The religious issue as one of the basic constants of human worldview has always been an important component of Jung's research. He put forward the idea that every person is religious a priori, and religion is a special mindset reflecting the innate need of humans for piety and higher sacred guidance. In the works compiled in the collection, the author explores not only the metaphysics and philosophy of Western religion but also considers it from a psychological perspective, presenting an original vision of the archetypal foundation of Christianity and unexpected interpretations of key Christian symbols and dogmas.
