The paper discusses topical problems of psychological training of hockey arbitrators. Based on the psychological analysis of the structure of the activities of the hockey judge, the personality characteristics of the hockey arbitrator were obtained. The semantic content of the concepts of its image, charisma and authority is given. Information about professionalism and professional burnout of judges is given, the technologies of psychological support of the arbitrator are proposed. For the first time in Russian, section 2 Qualities of the Judge from the methodological guide for judges IIHF is given.
