The proposed book is dedicated to the main problems of psychology and psychopathology of perception. Perception is considered as a complex process of movement of a multi-level apparatus of 'probes', and accordingly, perception disorders are seen as changes in the characteristics of the movement of this apparatus. This approach allows not only to describe a particular disorder, but also to reveal its psychological mechanism, and therefore to determine its place among other disorders. Thus, in contrast to the usual unsystematic description of perception disorders found in many guides, this book organizes them into a clearly organized and logically strict sequence.
For specialists in general and medical psychology, psychiatrists, students of psychological and medical faculties, as well as anyone interested in the problems of human perception.
