The main focus is on specific research methods and procedures widely used in social psychology but relatively rarely applied in sociological research. Standard methods and procedures are analyzed, which can serve as primary or control means of measuring social phenomena. Both classic versions of techniques and modifications adapted to interpret sociological phenomena at an empirical level are presented. Special methods and procedures specifically developed or modified by the author of the manual for measuring the phenomenon of 'social unconscious' are disclosed, intended to reduce the effect of social desirability. The experience of applying content analysis in interpreting verbal constructs contained in open-ended questions is outlined. Nine authorial techniques that have undergone validity and reliability control procedures are provided. Each chapter contains key concepts for memorization, self-assessment questions, and assignments for independent work. This educational manual is designed to provide methodological assistance to teachers of the discipline 'Methodology and Methods of Sociological Research,' as well as to students studying in bachelor's and master's programs at the Faculty of Sociology who are mastering empirical research methods and procedures in practice.
