The monograph presents the results of a comprehensive study of the modern British educational dialogue in rhetorical, discursive-pragmatic, sociocultural and phonetic aspects. The training dialogue was studied as a form of pedagogical communication in which the teacher manifests itself as a communicative leader who has communicative competence in the field of professional communication, speech culture and the ability to build dialogical relations with students. The publication is addressed to students of philological and linguistic faculties of pedagogical universities, and may also be interested in teachers of secondary educational institutions
