The book is devoted to the most important aspects of prenatal medicine - the basics of the embryology and the formation of the relationship between mother and fetus, ideas about the formation of a fruit and placental complex, the etiological and pathogenetic aspects of the pathological conditions of the system of the mother-placenta-fruit system and its assessment methods. It was created as a result of a deep analysis of its own experience and information on various aspects of perinatology presented in leading domestic and foreign scientific and practical monographs. Considerable attention is paid to the basics of ideas about the occurrence of congenital hereditary diseases, teratology, intrauterine infection and placental insufficiency.
