The dictionary consists of 440 articles placed in 14 thematic sections in alphabetical order. Particular attention is paid to the development of new terminology, reflecting the cultural and social processes of the 21st century and methods of intellectual creativity. The author and compiler of the dictionary is a well -known Russian -American culturologist, philosopher, philologist Mikhail Epstein, professor at the University of Emory (USA) and honorary professor at the University of Daremsk (Great Britain) The unique approach developed by him can significantly expand the conceptual system of humanities, to connect them with each other and with the creative practices that arise on their basis. The dictionary reveals the constructive potential of the humanities that can not only study, but also form new literary and artistic and philosophical movements, intellectual communities, and cultural institutions. Many terms and concepts first proposed by the author have already entered scientific use. The book is intended to develop innovative thinking skills among researchers and students and is addressed to everyone who is interested in modern humanism as a new stage in human self -knowledge
