The book discusses the practical aspects of programming applications for the popular microprocessor platform ARM.
The material of the book has a purely practical direction, so it contains many examples illustrating certain approaches when creating programs. The main emphasis is made on practical methods of programming tasks in the C / C ++ programming language, as well as to solve problems when debugging programs. Creating an effective program code is not possible without the use of certain optimization mechanisms, starting with the development of an effective code in C ++ and ending with low-level optimization at the processor command level, therefore a significant part of the book material is devoted to practical methods of optimizing applications.
For the development, debugging and optimization of demonstration applications of the book, a freely distributed version of the KEIL tool package is used, and it does not require the purchase of any additional hardware modules with ARM microcontrollers.
Book will be useful first of all software developers based on ARM microcontrollers, engineers, students and all who are interested in creating devices with ARM microcontrollers
