Processes and apparatuses of chemical technology. Examples and problems. Educational guide.

The manual is developed in accordance with the working program of the discipline "Processes and Apparatuses". Solutions to typical problems in the main sections of the discipline are provided: hydraulic processes, thermal processes, mass transfer processes. Special attention is paid to the calculation of the properties of oil and petroleum products. The manual also includes tasks for independent work of students. The appendix contains tables and graphs most commonly used in solving problems of chemical technology and oil and gas processing technology: nomograms of properties of some hydrocarbons, water and steam, a table of enthalpies of oil liquids and vapors. The manual is intended for students of a large group of specialties of secondary vocational education "Chemical Technologies" and is designed for independent preparation for completing control works, homework, and individual assignments on the topics: "Calculation of a heat exchange apparatus" and "Calculation of a rectification column". It will be useful for students of distance learning.
