The monograph discusses a wide range of problems associated with psychological functions of comparison in knowledge and communication. A variety of theoretical and empirical material shows the need for a systematic approach to compared as a key procedure implemented by a person in the process of knowledge of the surrounding world, itself and other people, as well as in situations of interpersonal communication.
