Kashmiri"s language, the most detailed language studied in the synchronous language of the Darque Group, is extremely weakly studied diachronically. In the monograph, an attempt is made to change this state of affairs. There are several separate problems, but closely connected with each other: historical and phonetic innovations in the system of vowels, affrust and siberiates, formal criteria for the allocation of Indoary borrowing, the genetic relations of standard kashmiri with a number of idioms, traditionally considered Kashmir dialects, the place of Kashmiri in the genetic classification of Dartern languages . The question of the legality of the application with the historical study of the Kashmir material of the philological method is discussed. The results of the study will be of interest not only for diachronist linguists, but also for specialists in a number of related sciences, in particular for historians and ethnograph
