This intermediate allowance is a continuation of the educational aid A.S. Swedov "Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics" Introductory Level (M.: Ed. House HSE, 1995, 2005) Together, these two books are an expanded course of lectures, at various times by the author in the undergraduate of the Faculty of Economics, Business Informatics and Computer Sciences HSE, and are a basic training manual in teaching the discipline "Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics" in the second and third courses of the Faculty Business informatics and on the second year of the Faculty of Computer Sciences. The choice of topics in this book is traditional for the course of probability theory and mathematical statistics. These are joint distribution of probabilities and moments of random variables, checking the hypotheses, estimating distribution parameters, confidence intervals. The study of samples, chains of Markov, the theory of statistical solutions is also considered. A significant number of applied examples is included, of which many are brought to final numerical responses. These examples are designed not only to illustrate the theory, they are close to those tasks with which graduates will be able to meet in future work. In this regard, the book is similar to textbooks on statistics used in Western universities. For students and graduate students who specialize in economics, business informatics, computer sciences
