The book contains texts of reports presented at the international conference "Russian Intellectual Revolution of the 1910s-1930s" (Moscow, RANEPA, October 30-31, 2014), which focused on the renewal of the humanities in Russia in the first decades of the 20th century. This intellectual revolution, which had a significant impact on the development of global humanitarian thought, included institutional, ideological, and methodological aspects, the development of new explanatory concepts, and the construction of new research objects. Innovative ideas and methods created in revolutionary Russia often interacted in a complex and conflicting manner with the traditional heritage of the humanities and the ideological apparatus of Soviet power. All these processes had an interdisciplinary nature, manifesting themselves in philology, epistemology, literary and art criticism, etc. The conference was attended by specialists in intellectual history from Russia, the USA, Germany, Switzerland, the UK, and the Czech Republic. It was a continuation of the conferences "Russian Theory: 1920s-1930s" (2002) and "Intellectual Language of the Era. History of Ideas, History of Words" (2009).
