The concept of premenstrual syndrome is revealed in the methodological manual. Modern data on the pathogenesis of the disease are presented. Particular attention is paid to indicators of hormonal surveys of PMS patients. It is described by the Algorithm of Women"s Survey in order to identify the PMS, examples of the menstrual calendar of symptoms, visual-analog scales and methods of assessing the psychological status required to verify the diagnosis are presented. Various therapeutic measures are proposed, aimed at relieving premenstrual symptoms. The advantages and disadvantages of the use of various groups of drugs and their reception modes in the treatment of PMS are given
