Prayers for getting rid of despondency and sadness

The collection contains Orthodox prayers to the Lord, the Most Holy Theotokos, the angels and the holy saints of God for getting rid of despondency and sadness. Brief information about the icons of the Mother of God “all mourning the joy”, “a argument of the sinners”, “quenched my sorrows”, as well as about the Angel of the Guardian, Archangel Rafail and the holy saints, the prayers to which are included in the present edition, are given. The brochure is addressed not only to Orthodox Christians studying the Law of God and regularly visiting the temple, but also to people who are at the beginning of the path to true faith. Therefore, in the introductory article on the basis of the teachings of the Orthodox Church, the basic rules on Christian prayer are briefly explained.
